Old School Style
My sister did this kind of a blog a couple months ago and kind of passed it on to me to do on my own blog. I had been meaning to get on a lot sooner to do this but, hey, at least I have time tonight to work on it. For my friends out there, I thot this might be kind of a cool way to get to know me a little better :-) Hope its an enjoyable read!
Old School Blogging:
1. What were you doing 10 years ago?
-I was a freshman in college at Northland Baptist Bible College (thats what it was called back when I went there), on my first spring break, not having a clue what I wanted out of life, and heart broken over my first breakup.
2. What are 5 things on your To-Do list?
-Do the dishes (never off my list!!! :-()
-fold laundry
-vacuum
-find a new shirt for Bryan for Easter
-go grocery shopping tomorrow for Easter dessert
3. What are 5 snacks you enjoy
-popcorn
-jellybeans
-chips and dip
-fruit
-trail mix
4. Name some things you would do if you were a millionaire?
In the name of not sounding materialistic, I'm just going to answer the question and not give too much thot :-) I would get us out of debt. Maybe buy a house. Set the boys up with education and life stuff, plus our retirement. Give lots away but also try to be smart so that I could give gifts and be generous throughout my life. Go on a vacation with boys and then without boys. Put money into Bryan's business. Probably bikes for boys and set us up with clothes for all occasions. What a loaded question!!
5. Name places you have lived:
Ecuador most of my growing up life, Massachusetts, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin. I think that's it :-)
6. What are some habits you have?
Mmmm, I'm not sure I have any habits. Just the things I do everyday, round the house things. Some might say I have a habit to worry and be negative outlook on most everything. I really can't think of anything else :-/
7. Name some jobs you have had:
I worked at my Grandfather Farm Stand (selling produce and flowers/garden stuff), D'Angelos Subs shop, Buck-A-Book, Northland campus Services and then bookstore, worked for the county in this area, Shirley's cookie factory, and Top Dawg. Now forever and always a Mom, which is all I really want to be doing!!
8. Name those you are tagging:
Not sure who all has a blog or an outlet in which they can do this on but I think it would be fun to hear from anyone who wants to continue this. Just tag me or link me to your page so I can read yours too! Love learning things about people!

I loved hearing (or reading) your answers! I know a habit you have - going through Dunkos drive through whenever you are out! And your job now is really what you have wanted to do your whole life - since you were 3 years old! Living out your dream!!

ReplyDeleteI admire that you put comments on here for "the whole world to see" and risk being scrutinized because you speak truthfully and you share REAL thoughts. One of the things I've observed about you is that you allow your boys to BE boys, yet they have learned tenderness & compassion because you have shown them these traits in everyday life--in how you treat them as their mother and the primary woman in their lives.
