Dishes.... Ugh!!!

I think everyone has that one chore in the house that they hate to do. If you know me at all, you know it is dishes! I ablosolutly despise doing the dishes. I let them pile up for a couple of days before i do them cuz I just don't like doing them. I hate doing them so much that there are times when i will talk myself out of cooking or baking something cuz i just don't want to have to do the dishes after! I would rather clean a bathroom and do major spring cleaning before doing the dishes. But it just so happens that the dishes is something that HAS TO get done. It is one of those gross things if you let them go to long. So here are some pictures that show what my sink looks like at least everyday or every other day if i haven't been cooking.

There is something that you need to understand. I grew up in a very well kept home. My mother is the best home-maker and hostess i have ever met!! She kept a very tiddy house and did a good job of teaching her childern the importance of a clean house. I admire her alot. I like to think that i learned and learned well how to keep my home. I'm very organized and like things kept nice and neat. So the rest of my house, on a daily bases is very clean, neat, and organized!! I'm just not sure why this particular job, the dishes, didn't translate over. My mother hates dishes in the sink and almost never has dishes piled up. But that is why i love it when she and my sister come to visit cuz they do the dishes for me. I think it is cuz they don't like how i let them pile up but hey, it is one less time i have to do them!! So now that i have stalled long enough by writting this blog, i guess i better get at it! :-) What is your least favorite chore??

    Vaccuuming is my least favorite chore and I hardly ever do it! Along with dusting and keeping our clothes organized. Its funny that I kinda like doing dishes. :) Wish i could be there to do them for you!

    I was literally laughing reading this post because I know it is SO TRUE! Thanks for the nice comments about your mother!:-) I wish I was there to help you with those dishes. My least favorite chore is ironing, but now I just pay Nube to do it for me!:-) Do you need a Nube there to do your dishes?;-)

    I HATE mopping with a passion! Too bad we don't live closer than I would do your dishes and you could do my mopping! lol Great post! Way to be honest and put it out there!

Catch Up: When the Unexpected Happens Part 2

I'm finally able to talk about all of it, all that God has worked through my heart up until this point--all the ugly, all the hurt, all the good, and all to His glory! My story isn't finished, but let me catch you up. I hurt! My sister did this kind of a blog a couple months ago and kind of passed it on to me to do on my own blog. I had been meaning to get on a lot sooner to do this but, hey, at least I have time tonight to work on it.
