Pictures, the story of your life

Something I noticed about myself, I love pictures!!! I'm not good at taking them myself but I LOVE looking at pictures of my life and of other family and friends lives. I will spend hours on facebook just looking at everyones pictures. It was about the time that we got our family pictures and were putting them up around our house and then a friend came over and was looking around my house. She made the comment that I had alot of pictures up in my house, on almost every shelf, wall, and something in almost every room. There are just pictures of everything, different stages in our lives, different friends and family. I love having pictures. I got to thinking as to why I love them so much, and the best way to say it is, Pictures are the stories of our lives. They are memories of events, accomplishments, and people we love. They tell the story of a birthday, and an anniversary trip or a suprise, an engagement, a wedding day, of the old friends you had and the things you did with them and the new ones you have created, it tells of a big move or change in life, the miracle of a birth. A picture will capture the emotions of all those things. I know for me it has been very fun to capture the life of my boys, from the big moments to the small every day stuff. Things I wouldn't change for anything!!! Just alittle of my thot process. Thanks for reading :-)

    And I LOVE seeing the pictures that you post too! I loved reading this post, Jeje, because it is so true. When the event(s) are over, all you have left are memories and pictures and a lot of times, the pictures help you to remember. LOVED reading about what pictures mean to you. And, thanks for putting up pics of your boys for ME to see all the time!

Dishes.... Ugh!!!

I think everyone has that one chore in the house that they hate to do. If you know me at all, you know it is dishes! I ablosolutly despise doing the dishes. I let them pile up for a couple of days before i do them cuz I just don't like doing them. I hate doing them so much that there are times when i will talk myself out of cooking or baking something cuz i just don't want to have to do the dishes after! Remembering Memories

Most of you know and are involved enough in our life that you know we are going thru a major transition in our life. Bryan has resigned from his position as youth pastor at our church, Foot of Ten Bible Church. Its really not necessary, nor do I want to go into detail about what brought us to this decision. Those that are close to us and care have asked and know the reasons. Let me just say that it was philosophical reasons and we could no longer support the direction the church was headed. Bigger issues too that we weren't willing to compromise on. We are not at odds with the senior pastor, there was just no unity, so it made sense that we step down. Catch Up: When the Unexpected Happens Part 2

I'm finally able to talk about all of it, all that God has worked through my heart up until this point--all the ugly, all the hurt, all the good, and all to His glory! My story isn't finished, but let me catch you up. I hurt! And I hurt bad with the loss.  I had opened my heart up to a new life, a new love.  This baby was precious to me already.  I struggled through understanding what God was doing.  Would He give us life only to not allow that life to develop?  But I never questioned why.  I had grappled through the sovereignty of God when we got pregnant, so it was easy to move that thought process over to apply to this.  I understood that what God does, doesn't always make sense or meet up with my plans, at least I thot I understood this concept.  Coming to grips that this baby was never mine, that in fact none of my kids are, was also something that became real to me.  That reality is a hard reality to accept as they feel so much mine, ...
