Wedding weekend

 This was a great weekend and it came just at the right time. It gave us great family time. It was good time for me and Bryan to talk and reconnect. We were able to talk and figure some things out. We spent hours in the car and the boys did GREAT for the amount of time they had to sit. It was so good to see old friends, catch up on their lives, and be apart of Megan and Aaron's wedding. We were honored to be apart of their special day!!

 We left Thursday night. We wanted to take a day and a half to get there. The wedding was in Alababma. We wanted to get as far as we could on Thursday night so that we wouldn't have far to go on Friday. We got in Friday afternoon and then Rehersal. After Rehersal the guys left to do some activities and me and the boys headed to a very nice couples house. They were so kind and so helpful! The wedding was on Saterday evening. It was very relaxing cuz they had all day to get ready and do pictures.

 They started to take pictures at 1:30 and then feed the bridal party supper. We, me and the boys, spent most of the day in the church. It was alittle hard to keep the boys accuppied for the whole day and we tried to stay out of the way. It was good that most of the time people thot my boys were cute so they didn't bother. The wedding was at 6:30. It was beautiful ceremony!!!

 Megan was a beautiful bride and I have never seen Aaron so happy!! We are so happy for them both and wish them the best! Congratulations, Aaron and Megan!! We hit the road after helping clean up from the wedding. We wanted to get to Atlanta, GA to visit a church the next day. It had been a church we had thot about visiting. We were so encouraged and refreshed but this church. I could go on but I won't. It was just what we needed. Then traveled after the service but wanted to stop sooner than all the other night. We wanted the boys to run off some energy, even tho they did SO well the whole trip. They also hadn't had much time spent in a hotel and that was the novelty of the whole trip. They were wound tight and we just let them go.

They slept good and were the best on the way home :-) We arrive home Monday afternoon just in time for Bryan to go to basketball practice. Its always nice to come home after a long trip. Then we headed full force into Christmas! This weekend we are headed to Hoffman's house for the PA reception. I love get-togethers!!!

    I loved this post because it helped to catch me up on your trip and the wedding. It looks like you had a GREAT time and I'm very thankful that you had this opportunity! The suits looked so great on the boys! I'm so glad you had this good family time together!

Catch Up: When the Unexpected Happens Part 2

I'm finally able to talk about all of it, all that God has worked through my heart up until this point--all the ugly, all the hurt, all the good, and all to His glory! My story isn't finished, but let me catch you up. I hurt! And I hurt bad with the loss.  I had opened my heart up to a new life, a new love.  This baby was precious to me already.  I struggled through understanding what God was doing.  Would He give us life only to not allow that life to develop?  But I never questioned why.  I had grappled through the sovereignty of God when we got pregnant, so it was easy to move that thought process over to apply to this.  I understood that what God does, doesn't always make sense or meet up with my plans, at least I thot I understood this concept.  Coming to grips that this baby was never mine, that in fact none of my kids are, was also something that became real to me.  That reality is a hard reality to accept as they feel so much mine, ...

My sister did this kind of a blog a couple months ago and kind of passed it on to me to do on my own blog. I had been meaning to get on a lot sooner to do this but, hey, at least I have time tonight to work on it.
