I debated whether to write this blog....or rather how to write this blog. I REALLY don't want to come across materialistic or that
things are really important in my life. I hope you understand my heart and desire to be a good housekeeper, mother and just a desire to make my house nice for entertaining and to live in. I just want to tell about things that happen in my life and the little things that change or make up our life. That said...

In the begining of August, we got professional family pictures taken by Kaila, super talanted and it was so fun! I was really excited to get them printed off and put around our house. It had been awhile since we had gotten family pictures and knowing Kaila's talant, i knew these would be exceptional! So getting them printed is one battle or process, getting frames that we can afford and for all the pictures i wanted and then having Bryan find the time to put them up, is a completely different battle. We went to Kolhs cuz i had some coupons, came away with 10 frames and two pairs of jeans for Aaron for $6!!!! I was SO excited about my out of the ordinary saving shopping to say the least!!!! Then it was about a week or two later that we were able to order the pictures. When we got back from vacation, we had some down time that day and Bryan was able to hang them. It adds a very nice, homey touch to our house!

The other new addition is in the boys room. Up till now, the boys have just been sleeping with random blankets and no sheets, except for a cover sheet. They don't have a theme in their room, it just seemed like a room with alittle bit of everything in it. I guess it was to much looking in magazine and other peoples kids rooms that made me wish we could theme it or at least have it put together better. This summer, i had finally gotten rid of all the baby toys and things so it was looking more like a little boys room. Then Mom Kurty found a GREAT deal on a quilt and comforter set that would match their room perfectly. It has really brought their room together and i love how it looks. It seems like it is something so small, but i feel it has made a big difference and now i can go in a direction. Just little things that have added to our home in making it our home.
