Figuring out this blog thing

So, I finally cracked and decided to give this blog thing a try. I'm new and I'm not sure how consistant i will be with it. I have read a couple other blogs and decided that I enjoy this form of communication and telling your story. I just have to warn and be honest that I'm not good at expressing myself, my mind is very scattered. Also my spelling is not so good, never has been. But I thought it would be nice to tell my story from my point of view. This is my first post and i just wanted to introduce myself. As times goes on, you will have the oppertunity to get to know me more. So to start, here is a few things.
1. I'm married to a wonderful, loving, godly man
2. He works with the youth group in the church where we are employed, aka Youth Pastor
3. I have two wonderful boys!! Once i find out how to post pictures with my post and add pictures on the side of my blog, you will beable to see how gorgeous and adorable they are!!
4. I LOVE coffee
and 5. God is the Lord of my life and though I'm not perfect, I try to glorify God in everything I do!

Looking at this year

I'm not sure why but it seems to be this time of the year, the atmosphere, the emphasis, the joy, and perspective that is around this holiday, but I do alot of thinking back over the year. Boy, this has been a full year! We have been busy in ministry, learning things about ourselves, our ministry, our teens, our God, and how to better love, serve, and bring glory to Him. Catch Up: When the Unexpected Happens Part 2

I'm finally able to talk about all of it, all that God has worked through my heart up until this point--all the ugly, all the hurt, all the good, and all to His glory! My story isn't finished, but let me catch you up. I hurt! And I hurt bad with the loss.  I had opened my heart up to a new life, a new love.  This baby was precious to me already.  I struggled through understanding what God was doing.  Would He give us life only to not allow that life to develop?  But I never questioned why.  I had grappled through the sovereignty of God when we got pregnant, so it was easy to move that thought process over to apply to this.  I understood that what God does, doesn't always make sense or meet up with my plans, at least I thot I understood this concept.  Coming to grips that this baby was never mine, that in fact none of my kids are, was also something that became real to me.  That reality is a hard reality to accept as they feel so much mine, ...

Old School Style

My sister did this kind of a blog a couple months ago and kind of passed it on to me to do on my own blog. I had been meaning to get on a lot sooner to do this but, hey, at least I have time tonight to work on it.
