Brothers and Best Buddies

When i had Aaron, I did what i think most mothers of two boys do. Wonder how your two boys will get along, what it will be like, will they hate each other or love each other, etc. Well, Aaron is 2 now and it has been fun to watch how Danny, age 3, and Aaron's relationship has developed. The older they both get, the more they love to be together! I think, ever since Aaron started walking, they have become inseperable. They can't seem to function without the other. The more independent that Aaron got, the more Danny allowed Aaron to be apart of his world. Danny's imagination has exploded from anything to monsters, to giants, to exploring, to playing house, to my kitchen becoming a race track. I hope it continues to grow the more life experiences he has. Now Aaron has followed suite. Going on all the same advantures! They love to go into their room and read together and color!! Don't get me wrong, they are brothers! Everything is a competition, "I beat you!" And they get on each others nerves. Some days all i feel like is a ref.

So, i have been getting nervous about this up coming winter and how confined they will be to the indoors. They have so much energy and are very active. Of course, i have things plained to do but i was still nervous about their energy level and having to be inside. Well, with all the rain we have had this week, we have been inside everyday. I have been amazed and delighted to see the brotherhood that has developed!! Now, I'm not naive enough to think that this will be all my weeks or that this is an indication of my winter but to see them grow closer and see the love they have for each other has been a highlight to this week. I'm not sure how it will be as they continue to grow and mature, espesally when school becomes a part of our life but for right now, I love their relationship and their love for each other! They really love each other and show it in their special ways. So cute!! They are Best Buddies at age 2 and 3!!
